The Hertfordshire Folk Association

What is the Hertfordshire Folk Association, and what does it do?

The object of the Association is to:

It publishes a magazine called "Puddingstone" three times a year, runs workshops, and provides financial support to other folk activities in the county. It also maintains "Diary Dates", which is a list of dances that are being run by the affiliated clubs (and others).

Membership costs £2 per year for an individual, £3 per year for a household, and £10 per year for a group or club. If you'd like to join, click here for an application form (PDF), that you can print out and complete.

The members elect a committee at the Annual General Meeting (next one in November 2017), and this committee meets every couple of months, to plan the activities. (Next meeting: 5th September, 7:45, at Terry Elvins' house. The following one is provisionally arranged for 28th November 2017, at Adrian Burrow's house, when the AGM will also take place.)
